Laura Brennan Bissell, owner and winemaker of Inconnu and Aitia Wines, is a visionary whose work reflects both the beauty and challenges of the unique Columbia Gorge AVA. Laura is focused on regenerative farming, organic viticulture and a drive to showcase the terroir of the ancient volcanic soils of the region. Edelzwicker is a type of white wine from the Alsace region of France. They tend to be fresh, light and fruity with crisp acidity and floral or citrusy notes. The Aitia hailing from the Columbia Gorge is zesty with notes of orchard fruit, white flowers, a dash of citrus and refreshing saline minerality. Pair this savory white with a grilled chicken salad, Thai food or baked spaetzle.
