While Domaine Bernard Baudry is a relatively young Chinon estate, it is certainly one of the stars of the appellation. This wine reveals an enticing nose of vibrant black fruits, violet and chocolate. Appetizing herbal notes, bramble and spice combine with earthy, red crunchy fruit with an underlying minerality carrying it through the finish. Pair this savory red with roasted chicken or turkey, lentils or Camembert cheese.
