Husband-and-wife team Scott and Dana Frank of Bow & Arrow are producing wines from Loire Valley varieties in an urban winery in downtown Portland. Fruit is sourced from some of the best cool-climate, organic or biodynamic vineyards around the Willamette Valley, and the work in the cellar is completely natural. The result is a set of serious, well-crafted, food-friendly, affordable wines that are a true homage to the Loire. Here you will find bright aromas of red cherries, spice and sarsaparilla lingering in the glass.The palate unfolds with earthy strawberry and cherry fruit with hints of blood orange, pepper and smoke. This is one of those chillable reds that goes fantatastic with BBQ's.
