TASTING NOTES
Cantina Giardino was born as a joint venture between six friends with the specific aim of preserving old vineyards and native varietals in and around Irpinia, a mountainous town in the heart of Campania. This blend of Fiano and Coda di Volpe is from a fifty-year-old parcel planted some five hundred meters above sea level. It spends three days on skins and almost a year in sandstone amphorae. Bottled only in a magnum, it pours a vivid shade of yellow and is fragrant with scents of exotic fruits and flowers. Vibrant and full of energy, it dances across the palate revealing notes of orange blossom, lemon grass, white flowers and a touch of funk. This is a highly quaffable white and a great bottle to grab for those holiday parties.
