This amazing wine is sourced from 40 year old vines planted in the mica-schist soils of the Pays Nantais where the Loire River spills into the Atlantic Ocean. This zingy white has attractive floral aromas and flavors of citronella, ripe pear, thyme, linden-tree flower and crushed stone. It's crisp and dry on the tongue and unfolds with a pleasant tension and a fresh lime blossom finish. This is a wine of the sea and should be accompanied by a dozen oysters on the terrace or a fried seafood extravaganza.
