REGION
Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, France

VARIETAL
60% Cabernet Sauvignon & 40% Merlot

TASTING NOTES
Owned and managed by Eric Perrin, the owner of Graves classified growth Chateau Carbonnieux, winemaking at Haut-Vigneau is based on a great respect for its grapes (60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) and terroir (gravel), together with careful and traditional aging (in 20% new barrels). The result is a wine with very pleasing aromas of black fruit (blackberries, black currant) and subtle roasted notes. -Winemaker's Notes

91pts - James Suckling
"Aromas of ripe berries, light spices, cocoa nibs and crushed stones. White pepper, too. Medium-bodied with soft tannins. Mild and creamy with a delicate finish. Drinkable now, but better after 2024."
