REGION
Côtes de Blaye, Bordeaux, France
VARIETAL
70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Malbec
TASTING NOTES
Beckoning aromas of stewed black berry, black currant and violets pave the way for a secondary rush of spice, licorice, vanilla, dark fruits and moderate tannins on the palate. Open a bottle with barbacoa beef tacos or rosemary rubbed pork chops with roasted fingerling potatoes. The grapes from this tasty Bordeaux come from the oldest vines of Chateau Peybonhomme and can easily age for another 10 years.
