Conti di Buscareto Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 2017, Marche, Italy

Marche, Italy

Conti di Buscareto has time and again shown a commitment to preserving local wine making traditions. Whether they're planting 35 hectares of Marche's most popular wine, Verdicchio, in Arcevia, or saving the indigenous varietal "Lacrima Negra" from extinction, they've shown a passion for local agriculture that would make Vermonters blush. A wonderful perfume of lemon peel, vanilla, and caramelized peach are exhibited on the nose, while the palate is tickled by almonds, pear, and baby's breath. Pair this with hummus dip, broiled shrimp, or poached salmon.
