This hearty red comes from the hills of Montalbano, between Florence and Pisa. In the glass, scents of earth and wild cherries permeate the nose. On the palate, deep red fruit, violets, vanilla, balsamic and hints of tobacco wash over the tongue ending with soft tannins and a lingering finish. Pair this rustic red with the decadent Bistecca alla Fiorentina or simply just a pizza.
