TASTING NOTES
Marsannay is the northernmost appellation of the Cote d’Or, bordered by Fixin to the south and Dijon to the north. Domaine Bart is considered one of the top producers in Marsannay and has deep roots in Burgundy that go back six generations. The 'Es Chezots' has a fragrant nose with red fruit and lavender nuances. Flavors of spiced raspberry and glazed cherry glide across the palate over earthy, mineral-laden acidity. It makes a natural partner to flank steak, vegetable stirfries or full-flavoured cheeses such as Époisses or Munster.
