TASTING NOTES
Like all our wines, the Grüner Veltliner 68 was harvested by hand and spontaneously fermented. It was then transferred to a large used acacia barrel and left on the lees for 68 months. The result is a great Veltliner, full-bodied, spicy with a nicely integrated residual sweetness. It goes superbly with pate. -Winemaker's Notes

92pts - Falstaff
"Bright golden yellow. Ripe tropical fruit, delicate roasted aromas, lemon balm, nougat, hazelnut, spice. Juicy, elegant, fine mango notes, white chocolate, mineral echoes; a good food wine."

92pts - Wine Enthusiast
"This is mature and idiosyncratic, with a paraffin and white truffle aroma gliding along the edges, while notes of apple sauce and stewed yellow plum mix with apricot stone and almond husk. It's held nicely and has great balance."
