TASTING NOTES
I Cacciagalli can be found in a sleepy corner of northern Campania where chestnut trees and vines intersperse the flanks of the dormant volcano of Roccamonfina. It is said that the essence of these wines comes from the vines grown on these volcanic soils. This elegant blend has aromas and flavors of dried violets, blackberry, plum, leather, sweet tobacco and spicy notes with a ripe berry finish and smooth tannin. It can be sipped with friends over light snacks or enjoyed with mushroom risotto, a Mediterranean pizza or a bowl of hearty lentils.
