In the stunning Rhône-Alpes sub-region of Savoy hails the indigenous white grape Jacquère. Grown and hand picked on steep slopes on mountainous terrain, this lively and refreshing gem displays aromas of white flowers, flint and lemon balm. The palate bursts with flavors of ripe pear, green apple, dill and citrus ending with a floral, flinty finish. This crisp, minerally white is great for sipping with grilled cheese, Croque Monsieur, or Savoy cheeses such as Beaufort, Reblochon or Emmental.
