TASTING NOTES
Julien Brocard was the first to practice biodynamic farming in Chablis and it was not without its challenges. Growers from neighboring plots feared that biodynamic farming brought disease to their vineyards. Ignoring the naysayers and happy with the results, Julien pressed on and continued to convert more vineyards to biodynamic agriculture. In 2012, feeling that the sites were showing their fullest potential, he launched his own label, Julien Brocard - les 7 Lieux. “7 Lieux” translates to seven sites and he started with seven wines that year. -Importer's Notes

92pts - Wine Enthusiast
"Sourced from biodynamically grown grapes, this single-vineyard Chablis highlights penetrating white-peach and grapefruit flavors accented by wisps of smoke and incense. While concentrated and voluminous in mouthfeel, it's cut by steely edges of acidity and a zesty lime-pith finish. The wine drinks well young and should maintain peak through 2027."

93pts - Decanter
"A very classy combination of the extra richness found in 2022, with zesty lime acidity and a distinctive, salty edge to finish. A great Chablis to drink as an accompaniment to food. Long, precise and very pure on the finish. Organic and from a different part of the Brocard operation in Préhy."
