TASTING NOTES
This family estate is located in the Costières de Nîmes appellation on the edge of the Côtes du Rhône and takes its name from an herbaceous plant "La Patience" that grows on the land. Christophe Aguilar, the winemaker, farms the same soil his grandfather did 60 years ago and has a deep respect for the land. A Mediterranean climate with sun and wind produces a red with lovely aromatics, hints of raspberry, red currant and cherry that awaken the senses while flavors of figs, strawberry and crunchy minerality tantalize the palate. This is a chillable, crushable red and can be enjoyed with a lamb gyro, a falafel pita or roasted leek farfalle.
