TASTING NOTES
Merwah is an ancient, indigenous grape primarily grown in Lebanon and some parts of the Middle East. The Phoenix has at least 3 weeks of skin contact and rest in half neutral barrels and half stainless tanks. It has an aromatic complexity with lively acidity and flavors of grapefruit, lemon rind, tart Granny Smith apple, apricot and a little bit of funk. Sip this with fried chicken, chicken kebab or a lemon lentil soup.
