Monterosso was founded by Aurelio Marconi, Giovanni Ferlito and Gianluca Strano, three friends who bonded on a shared interest in food and wine, a love for their native Sicily and inspired by the view of the towering volcano of Mount Etna.
This savory red offering nuanced aromas of wild berry, cassis and rose petals is balanced, concentrated and fresh, fully displaying Etna's unique character and terroir. It has etched mineral notes and light spice framing a core of pretty red fruit, smokey earth and dried herbs. Pair this volcanic red with sardines, seared tuna or eggplant ratatouille.
