TASTING NOTES
Founded in 2012 by a group of wine-loving friends, Ocho has always been made organically using traditional Georgian techniques and is a member of the Natural Wine Association. Made in a kvevri according to the ancient Georgian traditional method, this wine spent 6 months aging on the skins with wild yeasts and free from any additives. It is made from Mtsvane Kakhuri, an endemic variety grown in the vineyards of Tibaani village, Signagi, Kakheti. This lustrous amber wine is special by notes of Georgian spices, apricot and dried apples. It is a passionate, energetic wine with strong tannins and a pleasant acidity. We suggest North African and Asian cuisine rich in spices, hard cheeses, Coq au vin, and vegetables fried in spices. -Winemaker's Notes
