TASTING NOTES
This delicate red wine is made from the Groppello grape native to the Valtènesi region, on the southeastern slopes of Lake Garda. It's bright and lively with a complex nose of wild, red berry fruit and spiced cherry. The palate has a savory undertone complimenting flavors of cranberry, red currant, sour cherry and crushed stone. Sip this red with dishes of stewed red meats with polenta and mushrooms or the traditional Spiedo Bresciano, a skewered pork, beef, chicken or rabbit with sliced potato and sage leaves.
