TASTING NOTES
The steep vineyards surrounding the Bolzano Valley basin, which can only be worked by hand, are the stunning backdrop for Pranzegg's natural wines. Winemaker Martin Gojer, who farms biodynamically and uses little intervention in the cellar, creates truly captivating wines that beautifully capture the South Tyrol terroir and environment.
An aromatic and floral nose gives way to an energetic palate, revealing notes of stone fruit, citrus peel, salty quince and white flowers. It's vibrant with zippy acidity and has a great mineral character of crushed stones balanced by a noticeable texture from a bit of skin contact. Expressive, bold and refreshingly different, this white field blend can be sipped with freshwater fish, an elaborate cheese spread or an asparagus soup with lemon and Parmesan.
