TASTING NOTES
The vines for this lightweight red are 40 years old and grown on volcanic soil. After a short maceration of the red grapes, leftover Gewürztraminer must is added during fermentation lending lovely aromatics and a bit of structure. Ripe and juicy, the Leggero burst with flavors of cherry, strawberry, red currant and crushed stones with a hint of tannin and fresh herbal notes on a savory finish.
