Sullivan County, New York
95% Apples & 5% Elderberry
Believe it or not, cider was to America what wine is to France. Once the most popular drink before the turn of the century, many of the founding fathers were skilled orchardists who pressed and made their own ciders. Aaron Burr Cidery salutes this bygone era by trying to bring back America's rich cider history one apple at a time. The nose of this cider is definitely reminiscent of quince, bosc pear and lilac while on the palate, raspberry, white peach and slight chalk leave you smacking your lips and wanting another sip.
