Agua Mágica Espadín Capón is produced in San Juan del Río, Oaxaca, by sixth-generation mezcalero Julio Cesar Juan Martinez. This mezcal is handcrafted from 7-8 year old Espadín agave and is harvested by the capón method. This traditional method cuts the quiote (flowering stalk) before it blooms, which redirects the agave's energy and sugar back into the piña, resulting in a sweeter and richer juice. It's bright and peppery with tropical fruit flavors. It's ideal for spicy margaritas, mezcal negronis, and Oaxacan old fashioneds.
