TASTING NOTES

"Alkoomi" is the local Aboriginal word meaning "a place we chose," which was chosen for the rugged property on which these vines are grown. This medium bodied Aussie red has alluring aromas of blackcurrants, black cherries and dried herbs. Flavors of blueberry, cassis, toasted coffee beans and chocolate join the fine grained and supple tannin making this a wine to imbibe with slow cooked pot roast or a pepperoni pizza.
