TASTING NOTES

30 File (30 rows) Cabernet Franc is the result of 25 years of observation and experience. It comes from a micro-section of the vineyard where the vines have shown distinctive growing patterns and, in turn, has produced a wines with unique characteristics and expressions of its individual site. These are micro sections of the vineyards, where the plants themselves have behaved differently in their vegetation and the wines have expressed unique characteristics. 30 File 2020, from the lower slope, finds its strength among large limestone rocks and a warmer, south-facing exposure. It shows darker fruit, Mediterranean notes, and layered complexity - a wine of breadth, persistence, and quiet confidence. -Importer's Notes

"A scented nose of currants, spiced plums, wild herbs, beeswax and stones. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. A lovely peppercorn lift on the palate brings vitality and brightness. Succulent, focused and savory, with a persistent finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification."
