"The 2022 Cabernet Franc is quite the powerhouse. Black cherry, leather, plum, mocha, lavender and spice all race across the palate. Vineyards at 500 meters in elevation weren’t enough to fully temper the excessive heat of 2022. Although the Franc is not as varietally expressive this year as it can be, it is nevertheless compelling. Readers should expect a rare wine from the estate that packs a pretty serious punch. This extroverted, wild red is a beauty."

"Impenetrable dark crimson. This is truly a case of origin eclipsing mere grape variety. There are some suggestions of Cabernet Franc with hints of black pepper and bell pepper, but this is a totally amazing wild version with white pepper, leather and crushed blackberries. Lifted and a little raw. Refreshing blackberry fruit on the palate and chalky tannins. Genuine, honest and delicious."
