TASTING NOTES

Anapea Village crafts traditionally styled Georgian wines using organic farming practices, without additives or sulfites. All fermentations take place in clay amphorae (qvevri) buried underground, following ancient Georgian winemaking traditions. Deep and dark with 6 months of skin maceration, this rustic red has aromas and flavors of dark cherry, plum, subtle earth and spiced tobacco with herbal undertones that complement its lively, medium-bodied, juicy palate. Pair this hearty wine with beef stew, a lentil loaf or savory dishes.
