This wine expresses the pure character of the Maipo Valley. Chile's signature grape Carménère, the deepest, darkest, purplest of all red grapes needs a long growing season to reach its fullest potential. It offers ripe aromas of blackberry, black cherry and plum, layered with subtle notes of green pepper and fresh herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied with smooth tannin and balanced acidity, showing hints of dark chocolate and spice on the finish. Rich yet approachable, it delivers a soft, velvety texture with a lingering, fruit-driven finish. Grilled meats would be a smashing pairing.
