António Lopes Ribeiro was born above a wine cellar on an estate passed down from his great-grandfather, so it’s little surprise that he would one day return home to craft wines from the very vines his father planted. Grown organically and currently pursuing biodynamic certification, these wines reflect a deep sense of place from a man who spent his childhood roaming the same gentle hills and groves he now tends. Made from 30-year-old vines and given just 5 hours of skin contact, this vibrant red wine is light and juicy, bursting with tart berry notes and a hint of wild herbs. Chill before serving alongside summer pasta dishes or a charcuterie platter.
