Made by three young winemakers believing in a world where the future belongs to minimal intervention wines, Artizani grew out of their passion for natural winemaking, letting each bottle truly reflect the raw essence of the grapes and the soil they come from. These Saperavi grapes were planted, pruned, picked, pressed, and crafted all by hand. Harvested from vineyards in Khashmi, Kakheti. Made naturally on wild yeasts. Unfined, unfiltered. No addition of SO2.
Opening notes of eucalyptus and black mulberries are later dominated by crème de cassis and an underlying hint of boxwood, throwing you into the forest of wild berries. This 2020 vintage features juicy and sweet red berry flavors combined with a smooth and rich texture that we encouraged the skin and lees contact.
