Bodega Murga was founded in 2014 by Alberto Di Laura, a renowned pisco distiller affectionately known as “El Caballero de Pisco,” and Arturo Inga, a sommelier and official Pisco taster. The duo began by crafting artisanal pisco, planting several Pisco-approved grape varieties and producing their first distillates in 2017. Soon after, they decided to allocate part of the grape production to winemaking. They enlisted Pietra Possamai, a Brazilian winemaker whose energy, creativity, and extensive professional experience have brought a playful sophistication to Murga’s wines, capturing the distinctive character of the terroir of Pisco Valley.
The Ponte Mosca is an aromatic and inviting skin contact wine that offers vibrant grapefruit aromas with floral hints of orange blossom and jasmine. It has notes of orchard fruit, lychee and tangerine flavors mingling with delicate herbal tones and lemon verbena on the palate, underpinned by a subtle saline edge. Aromatic whites pair well with Southeast Asian, Indian, and other spicy cuisines, as well as dishes with strong aromatic spices like ginger, coriander and cumin. Sip and enjoy with Moroccan tagines, spicy curries or even after dinner with a spice cake.
