TASTING NOTES
Love Red is the everyday, anytime California red we love to make, built to showcase old heritage vines and the fruit they produce. This vintage takes a new direction, blending Dolcetto, Barbera, Zinfandel, and Grenache Gris for bright fruit and lively acidity, with a bit more depth and structure than past releases while staying light on its feet. We harvested early to preserve acidity, then fermented each variety separately with native yeast in a mix of stainless steel, concrete, and neutral French oak before blending.

A wine of trickery on the palate - can be chilled and can be paired to be lighter with something spiced like Indian samosas. Treat it like a medium bodied wine and pair with something we make at home called Shaking Beef from Slanted Door's cookbook.
