Brooklyn Kura 'Tidal' Junmai

As one of only a handful of sake breweries in the United States, and the first in New York state, Brooklyn Kura is an emerging leader of the American craft sake movement. With respect for the Japanese sake brewing traditions that have evolved over a thousand years, co-founders Brian Polen and Brandon Doughan inspire interest in the ancient beverage with the application of unique American ingredients and a passion for the process.

Crafted from 100% California-grown Calrose rice, Tidal is a medium-bodied, dry expression of its category. By blending two modern junmai sakes, it achieves a layered complexity, balancing bold fruit notes with the subtle richness of rice. Named for the ebb and flow of the tides, Tidal embodies the harmony between earth and water, celebrating the strength and balance found in every circle. A more robust body with a focus on rich and rice-forward flavors. This softens into red apple, grape, and velvety cream notes along with a short finish.
