Cantina Puianello was established in 1938 by five visionary individuals who came together to create a historic winery in the heart of the Lambrusco region in Emilia-Romagna. Over time, additional families joined the cooperative, contributing to its growth and passing down core values through the generations.
This particularly fragrant and expressive Lambrusco opens with vivid notes of violet, ripe raspberry and a touch of red currant. The palate is rich and full-bodied with a gentle tannic grip that balances the moderate acidity with a playful sparkle. It's a natural match for pumpkin tortelli, cured meats like prosciutto and culatello, as well as grilled or roasted meats.
