"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Bellegrave (Pomerol) opens with seductive plum preserves, blueberry pie and blackberry compote notes with touches of licorice, dusty soil, cinnamon stick and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with juicy black fruits and loads of spicy accents, framed by plush tannins and just enough freshness, finishing on an aniseed note."

"The 2019 Bellegrave presents a well-defined nose of blackberry, raspberry, orange peel and light earthy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, quite juicy at first, yet the structure defines the finish. It will need 4-5 years in the cellar, but there is good potential here.
