TASTING NOTES

The Côtes de Castillon appellation is situated on the eastern border of Saint-Émilion. The vineyards are a geological extension of those encountered in Saint Émilion with some good sites on the upper plains as well as the more classic hillsides and elevated plateaux.

This approachable, merlot heavy Bordeaux offers spiced black fruit aromas that give way to billowing flavors of dark plum, black currant, tobacco and smooth tannin. Enjoy it with cheese such as comté or cheddar or even with linguini and marinara sauce.
