Christoph Heiss is a young, emerging Austrian winemaker who comes from a winemaking family in Kamptal, Austria, best known for his Malinga natural wine project. This lively, chillable red is loaded with bright, fresh red fruit character and gentle spice. Juicy raz-cherry and black currant flavors play with fresh acidity and subtle earthy, peppery nuances with gentle, rolling minerality. It has 10 days of carbonic maceration and if you love Gamays or lighter reds, this should be your next pick. It's an easy sipper but will also complement light snacks or a cheese and meat spread.
