TASTING NOTES

Ciro Picariello is widely regarded as one of Italy's leading producers of Fiano. Although he and his wife established their winery in 1997, their first estate-labelled vintage was released in 2004. Their Irpinia Fiano is both elegant and expressive revealing flavors of ripe orchard fruit, a dash of citrus, Mediterranean herbs, dried flowers and toasted hazelnut with flinty undertones. Richly textured and vibrant, it pairs beautifully with fish and chips, creamy risotto or chicken tikka masala.
