Jordi Raventós founded Clos del Guarans in 2009 with a dual mission: to revive indigenous grape varieties once cultivated by his ancestors, and to help save the endangered Catalan Guarà donkey breed from extinction. With this vision at heart, Jordi brings wines like Les Someres to life—vibrant, expressive, and full of character, reflecting both his commitment to tradition and his passion for preservation. This bright, easy-drinking white blend is made from a mix of local varieties sourced from Massís del Garraf in Penedès. Light in alcohol but high in acidity, it offers more depth and character than its modest ripeness might suggest. Each grape brings a distinct personality, and the wine is crafted with care using a natural approach, fermented in both stainless steel and oak. The result is a clean, refreshing wine with a subtly wild edge.
