"The Four Winds Pinot Noir is as dazzling as ever, beginning with its black cherry, thyme, salted black licorice aromas, which are flanked by wisps of earthy oregano and coriander. Bright acidity and integrated tannins make for a balanced presentation, as flavors like briary blackberries, sage and cacao nibs dance across the palate in lively fashion. The higher elevation, 30-year-old-plus own-rooted and dry-farmed vines at Four Winds are really coming into their own."
