TASTING NOTES

Pascal Sorin and his family have been making wine in the Côtes d'Auxerre for over 18 generations. The family farm mainly produces wines on limestone clay soils which give the wines a nice freshness as well as a great minerality. Their unoaked Chardonnay is a harmonious chorus of honeyed pears, apple crisps, lemon verbena, white flowers, limestone and a hint of almond. This is a delicious wine to begin a party but is also well suited for pan-seared scallops, crab ravioli or cauliflower soup.
