This cuvée is a hymn to the family, an homage to grandfather Auguste, whose red mustaches appear on the label, designed by Jérémy. The rouge, the hammer and the pruning shears is a nod to Auguste's personality and his activism--he was a laborer in the vineyards and was one of the first to claim a fair price for his work. Lively and vibrant, wild red fruit aromas are highlighted by earthy cherry, sour plum, forest floor and black pepper. A little funky at first, let open to enjoy its full effect.
