This cool climate syrah showcases the true essence of Anderson Valley which is evocative of the terroir-driven Syrah of the northern Rhône. It's aromatic richness reveals violet florals and peppery red and dark fruit. A savory palate burst with ripe plum, black fig and blackberry jam with hints of black pepper and forest floor that play over a long finish. Elegant and structured, it would make a dazzling pairing with grilled lamb, a hearty cassoulet or a lentil loaf with grilled aubergine.
