Envínate 'Táganan' Blanco 2017, Canary Islands, Spain

REGION
Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain

VARIETAL
Albillo Criollo, Marmajuelo, Gual & Malvasia

TASTING NOTES
Táganan is Guanche (the native Canary language) for slope. It is also the name of the northwestern part of Tenerife where the vines grow wild on cliffs of pure volcanic rock just above the Atlantic Ocean. Hand-harvested, unfined and unfiltered, this is an intense vino blanco with a very unique personality, offering flavors of nuts, pear skins, smoke, and sea salt - pair it with a wide variety of tapas, especially head-on prawns with olive oil and sea salt or Jamón Iberico. -Importer's Notes
