TASTING NOTES

Fabien Jouves comes from an old peasant family in Causse. He became a winemaker in 2006 but comes from five generations of winemakers. His Côt or Malbec comes from the highest slopes of Cahors. Due to the location of the estate, he is able to explore the many facets of the Malbec grape. He believes the expression of the terroir is reinforced by a bio-dynamic agriculture respectful of life, the plant, man and its environment. The 'Haute Côt' is one of his thirt-quenching wines and reveals juicy red fruits and sweet spices with a underlying minerality.
