TASTING NOTES

Made by Gabriela Furlotti, whose family's winemaking history in Mendoza dates back to 1888, when her great-grandfather Angel Furlotti emigrated from Italy. This old-vine malbec reflects Mendoza's terroir, it bursts with boysenberry and blackberry, layered with notes of tobacco and leather. The palate is full-bodied and lush, with punchy dark fruit, bright acidity from the high-altitude fruit, and moderate tannin. It's a natural match for grilled steak, but versatile enough for other hearty fare such as roasted meats, or anything with a char.
