TASTING NOTES

Julien Pinon pays homage to his great-grandfather with this joyous recreation of "Bon Pinon," first released in the early 1950s. Chenin Blanc is harvested from the same vines that Camille Pinon planted for his original cuvée, in the unique black flint soil of the northern Vallée de Cousse. Julien also ages the wine in port barrels purchased by his great-grandfather, and reuses the bold label of the first release. These older vines create a complex and minerally wine that would pair well with oysters, vegetable terrines or as an aperitif.
