TASTING NOTES

Frédéric Cossard’s Bedeau Bourgogne Rouge is a fresh, vibrant natural Pinot Noir made from old vines in Volnay and Nuits-Saint-Georges from 40-50 year old vines and aged in concrete eggs. It opens with pure aromas of sour cherry, red currant and subtle floral and earthy undertones. The palate is light to medium-bodied with a harmonious balance of juicy raspberry, ripe cherry and a whisper of spice, all wrapped in silky tannin and a refreshing acidity. It will pair beautifully with light to medium dishes that complement its freshness and delicate structure, such as grilled or oven baked salmon or a wild mushroom risotto.
