This Nerello Mascalese captures the spirit of its volcanic homeland with a light-bodied yet vibrant character. This enticingly aromatic Sicilian red opens with alluring notes of violet, wild rose, Mediterranean scrub and woodland berries. It's elegantly structured, revealing layers of ripe Morello cherry, crushed raspberry, hints of orange zest and red currant, complemented by a distinctive volcanic mineral edge. Its lively acidity makes it a standout with grilled tuna, sardines, seafood risotto and even sushi or carpaccio.
