TASTING NOTES

Helmut Christ, a pioneer of organic winemaking in Germany, transitioned to biodynamic farming after witnessing the environmental damage of conventional methods, believing it produces healthier land and higher-quality wine. His Demeter-certified estate is now led by his son Michael, who balances regional tradition with experimental styles.

 

Bacchus is thought to be a cross between Riesling, Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau. It has an aromatic profile with elderflower, gooseberry and fresh-cut grass. It is crisp and dry with notes of lime zest, green apple and herbaceous undertones. This refreshing and easy-going white pairs well with Thai food or vegetarian dishes.
